Our SPL Transformer oil is specifically designed using narrow boiling range cuts of paraffinic base stock. This formulation ensures that the oil possesses exceptional characteristics in the marketing aspects of high dielectric strength, thermal conductivity, BDV value, insulation properties, improved cooling, and both oxidation and chemical stability. These features make it ideal for operating at higher temperature ranges, especially in transformers with capacities ranging in the thousands of kilovolt-amperes (kVA). Additionally, our SPL Transformer oil is highly recommended for use in oil-filled transformers, certain types of high-voltage capacitors, as well as high-voltage switches and circuit breakers.
